All About
Continuing Nursing Education Grants
What is a continuing education grant?
ARNET continuing education grants are funded through grant funding from the Province of Alberta, and by individual donations and partnerships.
Due to the high volume of demand and our charity’s limited financial resources, there is no guarantee of funding from ARNET.
Continuing Nursing Education Grants help fund:
Registration fees for a nursing conference or workshop
specialty nursing courses or degree level studies
certification exam or recertification costs
Must be related to improving nursing care and to your practice as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner.
Grants provide partial funding for self-paid educational activities.
You must be registered to practice nursing in Alberta as an RN or NP, reside and work in Alberta when enrolled in the educational activity and when applying for funding.
The course/program/workshop must be completed before applying. Proof of completion is required.
Preference is given to first time applicants - have not received ARNET funding before
Funding received from other sources is also considered
